What is TOLERANCE CAMP?

Tolerance Camp is short for The Baltic States "Teaching Tolerance Through English" Camp. It is  a week-long multicultural camp for Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian youth which aims at fostering the development of tolerance, diversity, human rights, and civil society in our communities. The project is sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in Lithuania .

The camp should help the students
who have had limited exposure to other cultures, to understand the importance of tolerance and diversity, while improving their English language skills, to be more competitive for placement in higher educational institutions and the job market., in cooperation with the U.S. Embassies in Estonia and Latvia, 
and has been running in the Baltic States since 2011.
